Chaos and Order

The very theme of our existence is built on a foundation of change. Change is fun, spontaneous, sudden, frightening, and everything unstable. Still, some say the nature of God/Universe is orderly and planned… I may have said this at some point myself. But I’ve had a change of perspective. The force of life is more chaotic than structured. When looking through human eyes, we see the earth gives us structure, and we may externalize the inner process to find ourselves. The force though, is forcing us to grow and expand at every turn. There is some resting time, but then, it's on to the next. And that my friends takes more re-organizing than we’d blindly admit.

Life is full of inconsistencies and irregularities. It really sucks sometimes. This is why I love astrology. I can make some sense of my life path, relationships, and the world through the language. I can ride the current, knowing what quality of energy to expect.

.

I can be more Me, instead of more confused.

.

Through the years, I’ve learned to not put all my eggs in a basket with this tool, with any tool. As these lessons come on strong, with a learned grace, I continue sometimes with the faith that it will be alright.

.

When the unreasonable happens, as none of us are exempt from, I’ll need to surrender and trust. My logical side tries so hard to not let this happen by labeling and naming, lending its judgements and rationale. But that is only the half. Sometimes I am thrust forward to let the chaos rule. Then I surrender to a greater force- The other half.

.

What I’ve learned about these two parts of myself is to honor them both. To give space for each to do their work.
